"The six performers
each have their moments to shine...But it's Jim Newman and Lee Morgan who are absolutely indispensable here,
Newman affirming exuberantly "Thank God I'm a Country Boy," and Morgan finding every drop of soul in "Rocky
Mountain High" and accompanying himself on guitar and harmonica in "This Old Guitar."
Flawless..."Almost
Heaven"
"I have just
returned home from seeing "Almost Heaven" in Walnut Creek, CA. It was a wonderful show...the talent is truly amazing...Lee
Morgan can really belt out a tune!"
San Francisco Chronicle
"The performers are charming and their voices are full, clear,
resonant and invigorating...Lee Morgan makes strong contributions..."
Lee's Fans
"Lee is an absolutely phenominal actor and never failed to make
me sob like a baby during the war scene."
"Lee is truly an amazing performer...Anyone who can make me cry
hysterically during one tiny scene is amazing in my book. Plus he just rocks in general."
"I heard Lee sing, and I was in AWE! He was amazing. And the song he sings right before the Madison Square Garden
("Sometimes") scene gave me chills. So now I've ordered his CD and getting anxious to get it!"
"Lee was fantastic. He was in great voice and really fit well in the role. He seemed to be enjoying himself the entire
time. His Rocky Mountain High just blew me away. It gave me chills...He had a harmonica solo at the end that had the audience
on their feet."
